Our Basic Excel Training is designed to equip students with fundamental skills to effectively use Microsoft Excel in their daily tasks. The complete training consists two parts.
This is the Part 2, which covers cell references, utilizing basic formulas and functions (if, sumif, count, couta, countif, vlookup, xlookup).
Whether you are new to Excel or looking to refresh your skills, this training provides the foundational knowledge necessary to enhance your productivity and efficiency. Join us to unlock the full potential of Excel and streamline your workflow.

Fondren Library Basic Excel Training - Part 1.
Registration
- Advance registration is required. Please register online. If you need to cancel your reservation, please send an email to govhelp@rice.edu.
- You are responsible for notifying the instructor if you are no longer able to attend.
- If you miss a course without notifying staff by the day of the course, your registration for all future courses will be canceled.
- The training will not be recorded. The class handout will be shared with all attenees.
