Fondren Library supports Rice University’s research and teaching aspirations by providing innovative research and information services, access to scholarly resources, and inviting physical and virtual spaces.

COVID-19 Update: The Fondren Library building is open to Rice University students, staff, and faculty.
We look forward to reopening the building to Rice alumni, Friends of Fondren, retirees, and other members of our local Houston community when Rice University administration and public health officials deem it safe to do so.
