Mount Zoom to DSLR: Refer to the following set-up if you want to use DMC Zoom recorder as external mic to record video with a DMC DSLR. You will need only to use a Mini Ball Head w/Lock and Hot Shoe Adapter Camera Cradle and a 3.5mm cable. Plug the 3.5mm plug to the headphone/line out jack on the zoom audio recorder and plug the other end to the mic in port on the DSLR.
Mount Zoom to Camcorder: Refer to the following set-up if you want to use Zoom Recorder instead of video camera built-in mic for better audio quality when recording video with a DMC Canon Vixia HF M500 camcorder. You will need to use all three pieces to mount the Zoom recorder to the video camera. Plug the 3.5mm plug to the headphone/line out jack on the zoom audio recorder and plug the other end to the mic in port on the video camera.
