Digital Scholarship Services Assistance
- Research Assistance
- Provide assistance in identifying and using digital research tools
- Assist researchers in managing their data and in developing data management plans
- Scholarly Communications Assistance
- Facilitate deposits of articles in the Rice Research Repository in support of Rice’s open access policy
- Support compliance with federal open access mandates, such as the NIH Public Access Policy
- Offer consulting and support for developing an online scholarly identity, including through ORCID identifiers
- Provide publishing support

- Provide access to digitization, digital curation, and digital preservation facilities & expertise
- Create digital collections in the Rice Research Repository (for publications, data, video, audio and other materials) and JSTOR Forum (for images).
